The specified .sav file has already been converted.

Description:​

  • The specified .sav file contains generators which have been converted (using PSS®E activity CONG or psspy.cong()) for use in a dynamic simulation.
  • This conversion is effectively irreversible, meaning it is not (easily) possible to revert the file back to its original state.
  • In its current state, it cannot be used for static load flow studies.
note

The gridmo Engine requires an un-converted .sav file, even for PSS®E Dynamic studies, so pre-processing can be completed prior to launching the PSS®E dynamic simulation.

Potential fixes:​

  • Change the .sav file you have specified for this task to one which does not have converted generators.
  • If you only have a .sav file with converted generators and/or loads - please reach out to the gridmo team for assistance.
