Description:​

This error indicates that the gridmo Engine has not been configured with any PSS®E installations. The Engine does not know where to find any PSS®E executables to launch for simulations.

This typically occurs if the gridmo Engine setup process has not been completed, or if it was completed but did not detect any installed PSS®E versions.

The gridmo Engine will be unable to launch any PSS®E simulations until at least one version is configured.

Potential fixes:​

  • Run the gridmo Engine Setup: The primary solution is to run (or re-run) the gridmo Engine setup wizard. This process scans your machine for PSS®E installations and configures the Engine to use them.
  • Verify PSS®E Installation: Ensure that you have at least one version of PSS®E properly installed on the machine where the gridmo Engine is running.
  • Check Engine Settings: After running the setup, open the gridmo Engine's Settings window and navigate to the PSS®E tab. Verify that at least one PSS®E version is listed and enabled.
