This error indicates that a task has encountered an unexpected or transient error, and the gridmo Engine will automatically attempt to retry it.

This warning can be raised occasionally based on a transient issue - such as a temporary disconnection between the gridmo Engine and the software it is automating.

• If this task is a PSS®E task review the psse_log.log file inside the task's Standalone folder - there may be a PSS®E-specific error occuring.
• If this task is a PowerFactory task review the powerfactory_log.log file inside the task's Standalone folder - there may be a PowerFactory-specific error occuring.

• There may be an error in the underlying software package being automated - review the log file in the Standalone folder for details.
• The Engine may not have access to a licence for the power systems simulation being run.

If a task fails with this error after multiple retries, you should investigate the logs for more specific error messages that may have occurred before this generic retry message.

• Review logs: Look for other errors or warnings in the task logs that could point to the root cause.
• Check licences: Ensure the gridmo Engine has access to a valid licence for the power systems simulation being run (e.g. a PSS®E licence for PSS®E tasks, a PowerFactory licence for PowerFactory tasks).
