External grid control data is not being correctly imported from an internode variable

Description:​

This error indicates that the data used for the external grid control (also known as playback) feature has a mixture of time-series data (from an Internode Varaible) and static values.

This error will prevent this task from generating an output, as the external grid control data is invalid.

Possible impact:​

  • The simulation will not run.

Potential fixes:​

To resolve this error, check this Node to see if the external grid control field is set to an Internode Variable.

If the external grid control field is using a mixture of time-series data (from an Internode Varaible) and static values, then the external grid control field needs to be updated to only use the Internode Variable from the linked Node.
