Emitted message:

The software version launched is not the version gridmo expected to launch - please re-run the Engine setup to synchronize gridmo with your software installation.

Description:​

This error indicates that the simulation software was able to be launched, but it's version was different to the version gridmo intended to launch.

This typically occurs if the underlying simulation software tool has been updated since the last time the gridmo Engine was setup.

Possible impact:​

  • The simulation will fail to start as the requested software version cannot be launched.

Potential fixes:​

  • Check the software versions available in the gridmo Engine settings: Ensure that the software version you have is listed amongst the available versions in the gridmo Engine settings. The exact version (major.minor.patch) must be listed.
  • Re-run the gridmo Engine setup: If the software version is not listed, re-run the gridmo Engine setup to detect the new version(s). If the new version is not detected, contact the gridmo support team for assistance.
